Some where in india.
One man having a liquor bottle in one hand. He enters into a old hut. Suddenly a women shouting voice coming out of it ,
‘I will never come back here again . Even if you try to do so . I will never ever come back again. Go dip die in alcohol’ , kallu wife shouted in anger
‘Go wherever you want !! , I don’t want anyone here..!! Go…..!’, holding the liquor bottle tight in his hand , Kallu pronounced in full confidence
(At midnight )
It’s raining heavily. The water starts flooding the village. Kallu is sleeping unfazed and snoring on his bamboo bed.
People are shouting and screaming everywhere as the water level is increasing rapidly. Kallu is still sleeping on his bed and the water is about to reach his bed.
Outside Kallu’s house someone is shouting ,
“oh ! Kallu!.... Kallu ! wake up ! Oh rascal ! you will gonna die. It’s flood everywhere , you fucker..Wake up ! ‘
While looking at the water level , that person just said some abusive words and ran away like mad man.
After few seconds the water level just reached the top of bed. Kallu’s body starts submerging into water. He suddenly wake up and falls into the water.
He just came out of the water and breathing heavily . He starts shouting ,’ Sheela ! Sheela ! where are you ? where are you bastard?’
He is trying to walk into the water but fall down again as he is drunked heavily . Then he again pulled himself out of the water and try harder and now he is out of his hut and he is strangely looking everywhere
( It’s dark everywhere and water is all around)
And he just stunned and clueless
‘ Is it a disaster happening all around ? Is world is ending now ??’ , his words fills with panic and fear…
But for the sake of his life, he just took a deep breath and start calling his neighbours ,” oh ! Pintu… Oh ! Satya…. Where are you ? Where everyone gone?”
His half body is in the water and now he start searching for something
.
It’s so dark and the water is filling rapidly and he can’t able to do anything then he just look at a tree, which is looking dark , then he try to reach that tree.
He tried many times but everytime he just fell from the tree stem and now he is so tired that his breath is racing against time. It’s a very hopeless and exhausting situation
He just closed his eyes for a while and takes a deep breath . Now with his full strength, he tried so hard that he somehow able to climb this time. He just crossed the stem part of the tree..
Now, he just found a branch where he just sits and starts taking fast breath and relaxing .
After few minutes he heard a sound, a hissing sound . He starts looking right left down up but when he looked up , he just strains his eyes to look clearly.
He got stunned becausee it was a Python snake which is about 6 feet away from him . He starts loosing his senses but trying to control himself somehow
He starts murmuring ,' oh God .. it’s snake ..oh god how will I save myself ? please God help me please help me I will not do any mistake again. I will give respect to shila and I will always respect everyone .please don’t, don’t take my life ..save me ..just for last time’, he is sobbing
After few minutes , the snake just gone away somewhere on the tree.
After few more minutes, the Kallu starts looking upwards with fear and now he saw nothing . There was no snake … Now Kallu takes a deep breath and starts praising the God ,thanking the God and then he just put his head on stem and trying to have some nap.
But during that he is seeing some dead bodies just floating on the flood water and going here and there .He just got afraid again.
He just passed his whole night like this .
(early morning )
He hear some husky sound which seems like coming from for away and he just trying to open his eyes.
He is seeing some blurry picture of a Boat , look like some motor boat going away ..
He takes a long deep breath and trying to call the boatman but his voice just chokes in between and he tries again and again ,this time he shouts loudly and shouts for a while , then the boatman starts looking towards the trees and he is trying to hint that he is on that tree .
By following the kallu’s voice, the boatman reached the tree and then the Kallu said,’ I am here upwards . ‘
There are three other members in the boat and its looks like a rescue boat from Government .They go stunned and start asking him,’ how long you are here ?’
He is having tears in his eyes, ‘ sir , whole night ‘
‘Who else with you now ? ‘, kallu just looks up to the snake and said, ‘ no one else, I am the only person here ‘
And then they trying to take him down ..and he just came down into the boat, then the boat starts moving .
One of the Boatman asked to Kallu ,’ where is your whole family? Where is your wife?’
He just said ,’ sir my wife just gone to her parents and I was just left alone at the home but suddenly at mid night the water starts coming and the whole village got submerged
. I’m some how managed to escape on the tree. ‘
‘Oh ! All womens are same everywhere. They always searches for chance to go to there parents home. They always find some excuse to escape ‘ but Kallu interrupts him in between ,
‘ no sir it was my fault. I used to drunk daily and beats her .That’s why she left me alone’
‘ so where is your wife’s home ?’ ,that boatman asked.. Immediately kallu replies,’ Rampur village’
And the boatman suddenly replies ,’ oh! There is also flood ‘
Tension lines starts occurring on the kallu’s forehead
